Sessions

NAB AFL Auskick is held every Saturday from 9:00am to 10:30am at Glenferrie Oval.

Participants are divided into age groups (kinder, prep, grade 1-2) and focus on different football skills each week. These skills are reinforced with relevant activities and consolidated through a modified game at the end of each session.

All sessions are conducted by volunteer coaches who typically remain with their assigned group for the entire season.

Participation

Any child who turns 5 in 2024 is eligible to participate in Auskick. Children can continue participating in Hawthorn Auskick until they finish Grade 2.

Auskick is open to boys and girls of all abilities. Activities and games are tailored to ensure all participants enjoy their Auskick experience.

Schedule

The Auskick season begins on Saturday 20 April 2024 and will concludes on 18 August 2024.

There will be no sessions on Saturdays associated with long weekends or school holidays. The list of dates with no sessions are as follows:
27 April (ANZAC Day long weekend)
8 June (King’s Birthday long weekend)
29 June and 6,13 July (school holidays)

Amenties

The club operates a canteen and BBQ each week.

Parents and carers are expected to assist with the provision of these services through a roster system.
